Bring your class to The Georgian Theatre Royal for a fascinating, hands-on learning experience.
Discover the history of drama, theatre, and life in a fashionable market town during the 18th century during your visit.
Using our newly renovated learning centre as a base, students will get to see behind the scenes at the theatre, as well as finding out about actors and audiences, costumes, scenery, props and entertainment through the years.
We can tailor your visit to meet specific topics or project themes.
The learning centre classroom is fully accessible and has its own cloakroom facilities.
Bringing your school group costs £2 per child (there is no charge for accompanying teachers or adult support staff)
