Richmond Operatic Society are bringing Gilbert and Sullivan's popular comic opera The Pirates of Penzance to the stage from Wednesday 24 May to Saturday 27 May at 7.30pm.
Young Frederic is an orphan who has mistakenly been apprenticed to an ineffectual but raucous band of pirates.
He disavows the pirates' way of life and wins over the heart of Major General Stanley's songbird daughter Mabel. However, when the Pirate King discovers that the Major General has lied to keep the pirates from stealing all of his belongings and carrying off his bevy of beautiful daughters, an 'ingenious paradox' may prevent the budding romance and lead to a few surprises.
Don't miss this swashbuckling farce of brilliant humour and razor-sharp wit!
Tickets from £7.50 to £14.50 are available from the Box Office or via the online booking system on this website.
