An exciting piece of contemporary theatre based on Lewis Caroll’s classic tale Through the Looking Glass will be showcasing on Saturday 9 August at 7.30pm.
Glass is written and directed by talented US author Ken Skrzesz and is the result of a project between The Georgian Theatre Royal and the Performing and Visual Arts High School Magnet Program of Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
It will involve around 30 English and American students who have come together as part of a week-long International Youth Theatre Festival held at The Georgian Theatre Royal. Their task has been to create a show from start to finish that will be performed for one night only on the historic stage. Audiences can expect a whirlwind of text, movement and creativity in this modern take on one of our best-loved pieces of children’s literature.
After the show, Ken Skrzesz will host a Questions and Answers session and talk about this transatlantic project, as well as his role as writer and director.
All tickets are £5 and are available from the Box Office on 01748 825252 or via this website’s online booking system.
