Craig and Willoughby

Support: Mike Sheehan

American singer-songwriter Cathryn Craig has sung with The Righteous Brothers, Shel Silverstein, Jorma Kaukonnen, Bobby Bare, Garth Brooks and Chet Atkins. She has released two highly regarded solo CDs, Porch Songs and Cathryn Craig.

Brian Willoughby began his career with Mary Hopkin and played lead guitar with Strawbs for 25 years. He recorded with Monty Python and toured with Joe Brown, Roger Whittaker, Jim Diamond and Sweet's Brian Connolly. His albums Black & White and Fingers Crossed received international critical acclaim. Both Cathryn and Brian have worked with Nanci Griffith and their plea for peace Rumours of Rain features the duo with 26 international Folk stars.

Each Craig / Willoughby song tells a story and the couple have earned a reputation for powerful, literate, melodic material. Craig & Willoughby's new release, Calling All Angels pushes the boundaries even further with understated, beautifully recorded songs about people and events in their lives including Alice's Song, dedicated to children with special needs.

They are joined tonight by popular local guitarist and songwriter Mike Sheehan.
