GEORGIAN THEATRE ROYAL YOUTH THEATRE Little Nishaat is every sibling's worst nightmare. Left to look after her one evening, Ansar, Rya and Khurram can't get her to go to bed. Until that is, Khurram comes up with a plan. Each sibling will tell Nishaat a story she's never heard before; then she'll sleep. As they tell their stories, the folktales miraculously come to life. Of course, Nishaat has no intention of honouring her side of the bargain, but the stories have their own way of resolving the problem.

Three Tales for Nishaat has been written especially for the theatre's Junior Youth Theatre and incorporates original re-tellings of folktales by Aaron Shepard.

Egeon of Syracuse has a problem; he's on a journey to find his missing twin sons and has ended up in the town of Ephesus. The problem? Ephesus and Syracuse are enemies and he's under sentence of death! Meanwhile, his son Antipholus keeps meeting strangers who claim to know him...

In this fast-paced adaptation, Shakespeare's farcical comedy of identical twins and misunderstanding is presented by the youth theatre's 11-14 year old members.

Warning: this play contains Shakespearean language and scenes of cartoon violence!
