By W.S.Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan

Strephon is a normal young shepherd in many ways. Apart from being a fairy down to the waist, that is. Being accused of infidelity with your own mother is quite unusual too. But that's what you get when your father is a mortal and your mother…well, isn't.

Iolanthe

Strephon's own love story is no easier. The lovely Phyllis is far above his reach and competition is fierce – the entire House of Lords wants to marry her! So the fairies descend on Westminster to help Strephon win his bride. Of course, if all is to end well then the law may have to be twisted a bit…

Iolanthe is Gilbert & Sullivan's peerless comedy of class, politics and love.
