By Alan Ayckbourn Alan Ayckbourn casts the set as a leading "character" in his farce, Taking Steps. The attic, the master bedroom and the living room, along with two staircases, are flattened into a single level stage space and the action is frequently concurrent in all parts of the house. In the course of one hectic night and morning, with continual running up and down stairs, characters Elizabeth& Roland, Mark & Kitty, solicitor Tristam and Leslie the builder try to 'take steps' to sort themselves out! Celebrate RADS' own 75th anniversary along with the 50th anniversary of Ayckbourn's play writing career by watching this inventive and ingenious work! Presented by Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society by arrangement with Samuel French Ltd |
