We celebrated the official opening of the new auditorium last week, which has undergone a major development programme during lockdown.
The Georgian Theatre Royal has received a grant of £20,000 from Theatres Trust, supported by the Wolfson Foundation, to improve its environmental sustainability.
We are delighted to announce that the Theatre has been successful in securing a grant from the Pilgrim Trust for £24,750 to carry out heating and ventilation work.
We are asking people to give to support our heritage, arts and youth theatre activities, and community work.
This can either be through a one-off donation or by pledging an amount per month throughout the campaign.

The Georgian Theatre Experience - Theatre Tours
Guided Tours are now running Monday to Saturday until the end of October. Every hour on the hour from 10am until the last tour leaves at 3pm. No need to book, simply arrive before the hour. £8 adults, £3 children. Tours last approximately 50-55 minutes.
