Due to phenomenal early demand, we have added extra performances to this year’s much-anticipated pantomime, Cinderella.
The show opens on Tuesday 2 December and will now run through to Saturday 10 January, giving even more people the chance to enjoy Richmond’s most magical festive tradition.
The extended run follows a wave of early booking from audiences and builds on national acclaim for the Theatre’s pantomimes. Last year’s Treasure Island was nominated for Best Script at the recent UK Pantomime Awards, highlighting the Theatre’s unique blend of creativity, charm and community spirit.
This year’s production is once again directed by Jo Mawhinney, who promises a show full of riotous fun, quirky humour, and local flavour.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of people booking early for Cinderella,” said Jo Mawhinney. “The Richmond panto is a real highlight of the year for so many families, and we don’t want anyone to miss out. That’s why we’re thrilled to be adding more dates to make sure everyone gets a seat at the ball!”
While full plot details are still under wraps, audiences can look forward to the return of the Theatre’s famous knitted item, along with a storyline that features familiar Richmond landmarks, including the town’s iconic castle.
Packed with toe-tapping songs, hilarious comedy, colourful characters and unexpected twists, Cinderella is a festive treat for all ages. Whether you’re a panto regular or discovering the magic for the first time, this is one show you won’t want to miss.
Tickets are already selling fast, so early booking is strongly recommended.
