Richmond favourites Dyad Productions return with new comedy collaboration

From medical emergencies to romantic complications and comic chaos, Dyad Productions return with a fast-paced hospital spoof full of laughs.

The award-winning Dyad Productions return to The Georgian Theatre Royal on Saturday 25 April, joining forces with Company Gavin Robertson for a pacy, cliché-ridden comic homage to every hospital drama ever seen on stage and screen.

Dyad Productions have a long association with the Theatre and are firm favourites with Richmond audiences, having previously delighted visitors with acclaimed productions including Female Gothic, I, Elizabeth and That Knave, Raleigh. Their return is always eagerly anticipated, and this latest collaboration promises more of the wit, energy and inventive storytelling that local audiences have come to love.

In this new comic mash-up spoof, every medical drama cliché imaginable is brought together in one chaotic hospital setting. It’s Dr Ann Fleming’s first day at St David’s, where her unfortunately-named mentor, Dr Death, is determined to show her who’s boss. As medical emergencies pile up and the pressure mounts, Dr Fleming must juggle a complicated budding romance (with a kidney), a nosey hospital boss, and the general chaos of life on the wards.
