Comedy fans are in for a treat next spring as award-winning stand-up Rob Rouse brings his brand-new UK tour show Funny Bones to The Georgian Theatre Royal on Friday 27 March 2026.
Best known for his appearances on BBC’s Upstart Crow, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Friday Night Project and Dave’s One Night Stand, Rob has been delighting audiences for over 25 years with his high-energy comedy, unforgettable characters, and brilliantly daft humour.
Funny Bones is his latest one-man show — a whirlwind evening of relentless laughter, tall tales, and manic storytelling. It’s Rob at his very best: sharp, silly, and irresistibly funny.
Described by The Observer as “an extraordinary comedian,” Rob’s stand-up is as joyful as it is outrageous. He has long been a favourite among audiences and fellow comedians alike, with glowing praise from the likes of Greg Davies, Kerry Godliman, Marcus Brigstocke and Nina Conti.
“I have been helpless with laughter watching Rob on stage. He’s one of the best there is.” — Marcus Brigstocke
“Comedy guaranteed to lighten even the darkest of moods.” — Edinburgh Evening News
Tickets are now on sale, priced at £18, and early booking is strongly recommended — this is expected to be one of the most popular comedy events of the year.
