Two inspiring talks take centre stage as part of Richmond's Walking & Book Festival.
The Richmond Walking & Book Festival returns from 19 to 28 September 2025, offering a packed programme of guided walks, inspiring talks and cultural events across the town.
As part of this exciting line-up, The Georgian Theatre Royal will be hosting two very special evenings. On Monday 22 September, historian and author Lucy Adlington will present her moving new book Four Red Sweaters. Following the success of her international bestseller The Dressmakers of Auschwitz, Lucy’s latest work tells powerful stories of friendship, survival and resilience during the Holocaust.
Later in the week, on Thursday 25 September, the Theatre welcomes wildlife presenter, conservationist and author Megan McCubbin. Best known to audiences from the BBC’s Springwatch, Megan will share her passion for biodiversity and conservation, bringing science and storytelling to life in an engaging and accessible way.
Both events form part of a rich Festival programme that promises to inspire, entertain and provoke thought, while celebrating Richmond’s unique cultural and literary life.
Tickets for both events are available from the Theatre's Box Office or online.
