Theatre launches new Autumn/Winter Season

Tickets are now on sale for the new Autumn/Winter Season for a programme packed with outstanding drama, acclaimed comedians, live music, fascinating talks, heritage events and festive favourites.

The Theatre's reputation for exceptional drama continues with a host of compelling productions, including Dot Productions' revival of Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan, the award-winning HER Productions' The Loves of Others, Mikron Theatre Company's delightful Wensleydale Whey: The Grate Cheese Quest, and the return by popular demand of John Godber's The Highwayman.

Comedy also takes centre stage this autumn, with stand-up performances from Charlie Baker and Daniel Foxx alongside laugh-out-loud productions including The Three Musketeers, The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town, and local favourites Adrian Bramley and Gregan Davis in An Unexpected Item.

Music lovers can look forward to an eclectic programme featuring the sounds of 10cc and Electric Light Orchestra with 10CCLO, Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance performed by The West Yorkshire Savoyards, and the music of Dire Straits brought to life by Alchemy Live.

The Theatre will once again host a series of events as part of the Richmond Walking and Book Festival, welcoming Hindpal Singh Bhui, Lady Brenda Hale and Horrible Histories creator Terry Deary. Meanwhile, those seeking something a little more atmospheric can experience Spectres and Spotlights: Stage Fright, an immersive evening combining ghost stories with the Theatre's fascinating heritage.

Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society returns in November with Jean Anouilh's The Cavern, before the season concludes with the Theatre's legendary pantomime, The Pantomime Adventures of The Little Mermaid, running from 4 December to 9 January 2027.

Jo Mawhinney, Chief Executive of The Georgian Theatre Royal, said: "We're delighted to unveil another exciting and varied season that celebrates everything audiences love about live theatre. From outstanding drama and brilliant comedy to live music, fascinating talks, heritage events and our much-loved pantomime, there's something for everyone. We look forward to welcoming both loyal supporters and first-time visitors through our doors for what promises to be a fantastic season."

The new season brochure is available from the Box Office and online. Tickets can be booked by calling 01748 825252 or by visiting the Theatre's website.
