A Richmond family has successfully guessed the whereabouts of a giant cat as part of our Where's Puss competition.
The 5-foot high, cut-out cat visited ten secret locations in the town and people were invited to guess where he was hiding from a series of photographs published on our Facebook page and in the main foyer over a period of ten days.
The Atkinson family of Richmond were amongst those who successfully guessed all ten locations and their name was put into a final draw to win a family ticket to the pantomime.
“The children really enjoyed playing this game and each day looked forward to seeing where the cat would be hiding next. Some of the locations were fairly easy to guess but others like Neeps and Tatties greengrocers were more challenging. We were thrilled to win the prize and are now looking forward to seeing the pantomime and the real Puss!” said Sarah Atkinson, mother of Scarlet, aged 8 and Florence, aged 3.
The ten secret locations where Puss chose to hang out were: the Obelisk, Neeps and Tatties, Quaker Lane play park, Costa coffee shop, The Falls, Swale Vets, Lightfoots Jewellers, Mocha, Archers ice cream parlour and the Friary Tower.
Puss in Boots is now being performed until Sunday 4 January.
